Same here: since Saturday everything https isn't
accessible at all, but everything http also obliges me many page reloads
to get through all the Cloudflare 522 connection timeout errors.Seems
there is something hogging between the Cloudflare proxies and the host
server that PA is using, but I'm not an expert Error 522Ray ID: 5e203c291ff2c052 2020-10-14 09:22:48 UTCConnection timed outBrowserWorkingCloudflareWorkingHostErrorWhat happened? The initial connection between Cloudflare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed. What can I do?If you're a visitor of this website:Please try again in a few minutes. If you're the owner of this website:Contact your hosting provider letting them know your web server is not completing requests. An Error 522 means that the request was able to connect to your web server, but that the request didn't finish. The most likely cause is that something on your server is hogging resources. Additional troubleshooting information here.

Hello, I'm having the same issue here. I thought the site was down or something until I found that thread in the forum! So now using http:// instead of https:// and it works fine.

So, it isn't one certain page, but it is an overall site problem. But it only became a problem for me starting on Saturday, specifically with making a hyperlink that references back to any other page in the site. I suppose a good example would be the New Release Reports that I do every month. The last one I posted is here : http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=124197 (For some reason, I noticed today that my links that I post, like the one I just did above, do not show up live anymore, but I don't know if that is connected to the same issue or not.) Anyway, if you look at that report in that thread, on each line, the first link should go directly to the band's bio page in the archives and the 2nd link would go to the specific album. This worked when I posted the thread at the first of this month, but now it acts like a broken link. This only started happening yesterday. If I post a link to an outside source, like Bandcamp for example, then it works fine. This only happens on links that reference to pages within the Archives. Hopefully this makes sense.

For me, you just have to adjust to the right one (http or https) and they work. I notice what the address is I'm posting and let that tell me which one to put.

I can't access any of the site unless I change https to http. If I google progarchives, the links won't let me in as they are https.*
EDIT: in case I wasn't clear: So then I manually change it to http. Edited by Logan - October 11 2020 at 12:06 |

There seems to be a problem with hyperlinks that redirect to another part of the site. Anything that has "https" in the hyperlink will not connect anymore, however, if you change the address to "http" while it is trying to redirect, it will take you to the correct page. This has to do with the security of the site.
The problem with this is that any hyperlinks that were previously placed in any thread will now not work, this includes the New Release Reports (all of them), any links to albums from the "Added" thread or Genre threads used by collaborators and so on and on. Of course, it's only the ones that redirect within the site meaning it is a security issue in the site itself.
