Sons of Ra is an instrumental, progressive metal/jazz fusion trio from Chicago. The band was formed in 2000 as an experimental improve group, but became active with the current lineup and focus on a heavier, progressive sound since 2014, performing around the Chicago metro area and Midwestern United States.
