I’ve had several successful additions, but not lately. Here’s an example. I don’t know how I’d find my most recent successful addition.
I’ll try a different browser later as well, and yeah, clearing the cache might help, too. Thanks for the suggestions; I’ll report back at some point.

Have you ever accomplished a successful addition or you always receive an error ? (try also changing the browser or at least clean the cache of the current)

Thanks for the response. That’s so strange that it worked for you. I’m showing as logged in; it shows my username and gives me the prompt to edit my old ratings and reviews. I suppose I should try editing one of those and see if that works.
I don’t know what problem would exist on my end, though. Running a search for this specific error code ("Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0 error ’80040e57’") doesn’t return too many results; this thread is actually the third result that came up on a Google search. None of the ones I’ve perused actually seem relevant to this exact problem; most seem to be solutions for developers rather than end users. The same goes for "String or binary data would be truncated": most of the results are for programmers. Judging from those results, it sounds like the content I’m submitting exceeds the size of whatever column would store the data, but without knowledge of which column that is, I don’t know which part of the submission to edit. It also seems unlikely that the content I submitted for Hallucinogen would be too long; I’ve certainly seen longer track listings and album descriptions. Unless the problem is with the images? I tried submitting a 300x300 .jpg and it still didn’t work. Does it specifically want the suffix .jpeg? I can’t remember that being a requirement before. And the error code I’m getting wouldn’t show up if I used the wrong suffix for an image, would it? This also isn’t the first time I’ve had problems submitting content here, and it’s happened on multiple computers across several years. At times I’ve actually been unable to post on the forums at all. Is it possible that something about my account has become corrupted? If this is relevant, here’s my Chrome version info:
Or possibly one of my extensions is breaking the website. If that’s the case, I’d have to try disabling them selectively until I can get the content to submit. Maybe I should also try submitting albums from another system. I’ll go through some of these steps later; I don’t have time at the moment. Thanks in advance for any further clarification you may be able to provide.

Just tried updating the exact track-list you provided in another album page and found absolutely no error. Thus the problem seems not to be in the DB software but somewhere on your side ... which I'm afraid you'll have to diagnose by yourself - try searching online for the SQL error code you receive and follow from there. (Just a thought: Aaron, are you already logged-in when you try to do the album addition? - sometimes the simplest explanation is most easily overlooked)

I’m trying to add data for the Blut aus Nord album Deus salutis meæ, which features three song titles written in the ancient Greek alphabet. When I attempt to submit the album, I get the following error:
I suspect the database software can’t deal with the unusual character encoding (some of the characters in here are only even used in ancient Greek – the modern Greek alphabet doesn’t use them). This is the correct track listing:
And I’ve written the following release information:
(This is very similar to the Last.fm wiki information for the album… but I wrote that, too, so that’s hopefully not a problem. I’ve added italics to the album title in the quote above, but I didn’t actually attempt to include those when submitting the album – I have no idea if the database software will accept that, either.) Due to the ambiguous credit information, I just listed “- Unknown / unknown” as the credits (this is one of maybe two or three Blut aus Nord albums that I don’t own at least one physical copy of, but they seldom, if ever, list musicians in the packaging anyway). If the issue with Unicode input isn’t likely to be fixed anytime soon, perhaps someone on the administrative staff here with direct access to the database can add it. I’d prefer not to just convert the Greek characters to the Roman alphabet, since there’s an actual artistic purpose for their usage (differentiating the ambient interlude tracks from the metal tracks). A high-quality version of the album art is available at https://lastfm-img2.akamaized.net/i/u/_/fa7f4e7f80f027bd2fbe7d23a48ce024.png. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. ETA: The issue may actually be with Unicode track titles in general; I can't add their latest album, either, which has a song titled "Haallucinählia". Or is it a problem with my account?
