I agree completely, it was great. I would even say it was better than when Jethro Tull came a few years prior. The setlist felt improved - All of TAAB part 1 this time, some good new stuff, and even a bit of A Passion Play (!) which caught me off guard.

I also think the presence of the younger singer was an excellent move. Great show!

Ian Anderson played live at Palais Theatre
It was a great show with an ageing audience.
The set list was great with a full rendition of TAAB side 1.
He incorporated videos and some humour. A younger guy with a mop and janitor character sung some of the higher parts of songs. Here's the setlist

The theatre wouldn't allow photos or filming at all but I recorded last part if show for fun. End of Locomotive Breath
Highlights include lead break of Aqualung, TAAB, living in past, Bouree, Teacher and Songs from the Wood
I really enjoyed the show and glad I went to savour a part if prog history. Andersonville flute playing was awesome and he still stands on one leg.
Lighting was standard but effectively colourful.
