Erm, 18 bucks? That's a below average price for music where I live (which is why I don't buy it).

I bought a 10 CD anthology of a polish jazz-rock band LABORATORIUM for 250 PLN (85,32 $) having never heard a single note of their music before (I read good reviews)! Beat me!

Badfinger "Straight Up".
$50 plus a 12 pack of beer. At the time, as a teen, that was huge cake. But the album was completely impossible to find back then. I later had it signed by Joey Molland and Mike Gibbons, and gave it to a friend when I abandoned vinyl.
