Over the past 18 years on PA I've tried out many albums that are HIGHLY rated by the PA community which I just can't get into. Many I've been able to learn to enjoy with repeated listens, but some have remained inaccessible or unenjoyable to me despite very high ratings/rankings by the PA average.
Can you come up with a list of ten (10) albums that you've never connected with--despite repeated efforts--that are VERY highly here on PA? Mine would have to include (from the most highly rated albums in PA's database): King Crimson Larks' Tongues in Aspic PFM Storia di un minuto Museo Rosenbach Zarathustra Rush Permanent Waves Mike Oldfield Ommadawn Bacamarte Depois de Fim Marillion Misplaced Childhood Porcupine Tree In Absentia Gong Radio Gnome Invisible Vol. 3 - You IQ The Road of Bones Though I'd also have to report: Edge of Sanity Crimson * Le Orme Felona e Sorona Marillion Script for a Jester's Tear Kansas Leftoverture Gorguts Obscura Eloy The Ocean Dün Eros Riverside Anno Domini High Definition * Modry Efekt Svët Hledacu Haken The Mountain Birds and Buildings Bantam to Behemoth Ayreon The Human Equation * Marillion Clutching at Straws * Arena Contagion * Miles Davis Bitches Brew Deep Purple Machine Head Can Ege Bemyasi * Denotes albums I feel deserving of 2 star ratings Edited by BrufordFreak - April 12 2025 at 13:51 |
