He doesn't have to dream for me to dream about him.  I often dream about old school friends.  I doubt they're dreaming about me at the same time.

Besides, it wasn't Rico.

It was someone from P.A. though but I cannot remember who it was.

My father also dreamt about his dead father (as it happens, so did his sister and they interacted with each other in the dream).  Shared dreaming is something I want to experience.

I also once dreamt Peter Hammill got shot at a gig. Wacko  The person who shot him was one of the two people with me.  I think it may have been Rico.

I remember them when I first wake up but once I'm fully awake, I usually forget them.

I remember recently having a fantastic dream that would make a good story.  I remembered it upon awaking but a few hours later I couldn't remember a thing about it.

Remembering dreams is unreliable anyhow.  You always make up elements of what you thought you dreamt about.

A great dream I had once involved the music that was playing in the background when I was asleep.  There was a band in the dream actually playing that music.  Awesome.

Yes, Rico.

At least 95% of all dreams are not remembered. Certain brain chemicals necessary for converting short-term memories into long-term ones are suppressed during REM sleep. Unless a dream is particularly vivid and if one wakes during or immediately after it, the content of the dream is not remembered.


So you're just not remembering them.
