I know my TV can show RGB because the PS2 games show in colour and the
picture seems to get better with an RGB cable, but does this mean that
it's also NTSC compatible? Do I need to use an RGB cable to watch NTSC
DVD's, because when I use an S-video cable all my PAL DVD's show in
colour, but all the NTSC DVD's are black and white and not sharp?

My DVD-Player shows my Gentle Giant NTSC DVD's in colour if I choose RGB colours from the screen menu, but that is hardly an answer to your question, right?

What if when I try to watch an NTSC dvd on my PS2 the image is black
and white and distorted when I use an S-video cable, but green and not
distorted when I use an RGB cable? If I buy the Region X thingy which
is supposed to remove the greenness, will I get the picture in color
with the RGB cable or will it be black and white?
