Tlossy, if you've noticed, there's been little Fish or OOIOO talk recently, so please return to the VR!

Talking about music is essential for us since it's basically what our life is made off.

Lets see I woke up, worked 8 hours, sold old games and made $208, and then came home and ordered some stuff that cannot be discussed here.

Yeah, I by no means hate my job or the people I work with (expect that bitch, but she's leaving in a few weeks). It's not a bad job, but or management makes it harder than it needs to be because they're slacking off hiring people we really really need.

I completely understand. No matter where you go (especially in the service industries), the same personalities exist. It's good that you can find something to like in the guy that may not be too bright. Angry people are a difficult situation. I find it helps if you try not to get drawn into the conflict game. Also, think about how crappy she makes her life by being that way. Sad really.

Because discussions about Fish, OOIOO, and albums that people have bought give me migrane headaches. I had to close at work today, but it wasn't too bad. I was working with a "no bullsh*t" manager who's a class guy and does his best to make sure everyone leaves on time. We have two other managers that are 100% and 95% bullsh*t. What college are you going to? |
Not sure yet, but my mother is a professor of communications at a university in town and has connections to a web of colleges that would offer me free tuition because of her status. I'm thinking about going to one of those for the first two years and seeing if I want to stay or go somewhere else. Who can argue against a free education? [IMG]height=17 alt=Tongue src="http://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" width=17 align=absMiddle> I do want to get out of Indiana, though. It's a dead-end. |
Don't forget, there are some great schools in our area of the country. College towns tend to be a bit different anyway. Ann Arbor is nothing like the rest of Michigan. Indiana also has some fine schools. I remember liking West Lafayette when I visited. Bloomington didn't seem so bad either.

My day today was devoted to finish the house. I'm working on the walls, then I'll have to finish the ceramic work, place some carpets, install windows (real ones, not Microsoft's). If I can, I'll try to catch a movie later. And I'm kind of in the same situation of mr. Bern; my girlfriend is about to receive her degree, so she is studying and I'll get to see her next weekend. I'lkl kiss her in a week from now. It'll be great, off course...
Added on editing: not having a girlfriend can be good, but not forever. My cousin is in serious troubles; he feels lonely, lives in an empty house were nobody says hello to him. The worst part, I think, is that he is acrually getting use to it, and now it is more of a problem to actually meet someone...

Today I watched the Turkish Grand Prix (Massa won), a stunner of a race, read a book (or more of the book I've been reading for the last couple of weeks) whilst listening to music, had dinner, tried watching the Champ Car World Series live from Montreal, it was rained of after 6 laps ( ), continued reading said book and listening to music until Leathel Wepon 3 came on, now posting here.
