That's an interesting idea, and many people DO become slaves to fashion. Only I prefer the idea of the real hippy to the idea of 'thugz' etc...at least the hippies' music was fantastic! 1967 was a good year...
And Jesus said unto John, "come forth and receive eternal life..."
Unfortunately, John came fifth and was stuck with a toaster.

Hippies were for the most part just a bunch of sacrificial lambs following a few real hippies so that they could look cool.

The modern day version of this are "thugz" also known as  "ganstaz"

They were there in the late 60s/early 70s...many vanished, but some carried on with their 'hippiness'. One thing I would like to know is: will hippies ever come back?
