Hi and welcome to the thread for anyone who would like to talk about or explore the work of the great Roy Harper.
Ive seen Roy Live 50-60 times live since 1979 and his music and lyrics have been a source of inspiration all my adult life. Some of his live performances have been fairly stoned, shambolic affairs (so were many of Peter Hammill's earlier solo shows!) and I know he has been a very divisive artist over the years in terms of his attitudes to life, love, religion and philosophy but I believe him to be an intensely progressive musician who has never abandoned his principles and his muse.

I'm particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw him late 60s into the early mid 70's.
