1970 to 1974. After Diamond Dogs (an underrated album if ever there was one), he kind of lost me.

Same as Dr Wu23. After Aladdin Sane I didn't really appreciate his music - apart from Scary Monsters which I did like.

I suppose from 1970-1973....but there are tracks from later ones I do enjoy.
Bowie has always been hit or miss with me.
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

My favorite stuff is from Heroes forward though there are a few albums in that range that I am less than enthusiastic for, but hey.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

David Bowie is my musical hero as far as solo artists go. There were many phases of Bowie in both fashion and music for me to fall in love with. Which past phases of Bowie's career do you like best from the following: '60s Musical Hall - 1967-68 Folk - 1969 Long, Blonde Hair - 1970-1871 Ziggy Stardust - 1972-1974 Blue-Eyed Soul - 1975-1976 Berlin/Thin White Duke - 1977-1979 Scary Monsters - 1980-1981 '80's' - 1982-1992 Techno - 1993-2009.
