It sounds bleh.
Also: In Concert is pretty much a live compilation so that works. If not, go for Absolutely Live. The End is by far the best performance, but overall the live performances are either hit-or-miss for me.

try "In Concert"; compiles the entirety of "Alive, She Cried" and "Absolutely Live", plus a few other tracks. It's pretty food

I've never listened to any of their official live albums, are they any good?

I think their best one is definitely L.A. Woman. Without listening to them for a long long time, the rest would be something like this:
Waiting for the Sun Morrison Hotel strange days The Doors the soft parade

Top Doors album for my liking are : the debut, Strange Days, Waiting For The Sun and Other Voices. I have never heard a weak Doors album.

I agree, their first album was the best. However, as much as I love the Doors, I don't think they did one album where I loved every song. This is true of almost all bands, including all of my favorites. I can count the albums where every song is a gem on one hand, regarding my faves.
So, despite that fact that it's not a popular philosophy here at PA, I truly think compilation albums are the way to go. After all, that's what you get at a concert, right?
