Hey, Mr Dachshund, how you been? Thank you. Yes, I've been AWOL from the Archives for several months (now that I look at it, most of the year  ), just sorting through some things. Essentially a nasty mess of a relationship breakdown, an extreme virus lockdown here in Melbourne Australia (which has just eased a little a couple of days ago, but it lasted months), as well as having to try to start working from home. Definitely not too inspiring to try to enjoy music. Good times!
But I hope you and yours are alright, mate |
All's good my friend. Hang in there. We all go through rough patches form time to time, but it gets better eventually.

Yep, finally someone else is appreciating this album as the great late career prog/art rock it is, don't sleep on the mission. Check out the song Red Storm, pure progressive rock.

In general, I like reviews by TCat and Psycho Paul, who I tend to agree with, though I don't read reviews that often, I prefer to write them - "The main thing is to make reviews, not to read them", Otto von Bismark.

I was impressed with the review of Neal Morse's new album Sola Gratia by a new reviewer by the name of thesimilitudeofprog in that he covered well the music and story of this concept album about the early activities of the Christian apostle Paul. His review was very centered on the beauty of the music, as well as the proggy highpoints, and his review was detailed enough to show that this album is not a preaching session by Morse, which could turn off the non faithful. I'm going to give it a listen and that's saying a lot from a faithful agnostic.
