Your Arrangement of Vinyl, Tapes, CDs and DVDS

   Way back when, I had my CDs in chronological order (Original release date: Year, Month, Day, alphabetical by artist if there were several releases on the same day). However, some release dates were quite difficult to find. And, by the time I owned 1000+ records, I got annoyed with shifting everything just to add a new item. Now I just have it by artist alphabetical order; genres be damned, it's all music so it all goes together.

	When you stack or file (or whatever) your Vinyl, cds and dvds how do you do it ? Alphabetically for everything ? Do you do it in catagories for everything? Do you keep braod categories but then alpabatise within those ? (Eg all TV dvds alphabetised, seperate from all Cinmea DVDs alphabetised, sperate from Music DVDs , maybe the music DVDs are with your CDs and not with the film and televsion ones ) Or does anyone have their own unique systems ? For those who like their music aranged chronoligal and not alphabetic... Do you rename all your albums on your iPod/computer like '01 From Genesis To Revelation' '02 Trespass,' '03 Nursery Crime,' '04 Foxtrot,' '05 Selling England by the Pound,' etc or do you just allow it to be alphabetic ?
