When I saw him as England's main forward, I though of two things:

I stand corrected, I was sure I'd read a couple of years back that the population was 3 and a bit million. Obviously the Kiwis have been breeding rapidly with the consequence their football team has improved by dint of having more players to choose from! I thought that Paston was a very impressive keeper - can we have him to replace Calamity James please?

Only if Winston Reid touched the ball, and that was a pretty close thing. Anyway, if you cancel out our goal, and their 'penalty', then it was still a draw.

Yep. But the referees are always the first to get blamed for anything. I referee Cricket matches in summer, and man, you should hear how much people complain.

I don't hate him or Guatemala, it's just that NZ plays a very physical style of direct football, because we don't have the pace and skill on the ball to run around or through good defensive lines. The Italian defence knew this, and took dives everytime we touched them. I don't blame them, but I thought Batres would have at least seen this happening and told them to pack it in.

Oh, don't believe in that rankings, it's about who you like more than who is playing better... imagine, they didn't loose a single match and they qualify with other 31 best teams of the world, and they are now 40 places down the rest of the "best" teams. It's stupid...

Just yesterday DHs couldn't reach the second base and he was at the half of the road, .
We are not talking about fighting, any Sumo fighter could tear down any single human being, but they aren't athlettes, com'on...!!!
I can assure you that Landon Donovan is faster than most of the baseball players, we are talking about different kind of sports. I was just saying that it isn't that accurate your statement. Most of the profesional football players are really athlettes, the problem is that silly actions of diving around the field. In the Premier League (in England) nor the referees nor the crowd aloud the players to be sisis... they made "boooooo" to all of the players who dive. But the premier League isn't England, and that's sad...

If being able to run marathons were the only measure of athleticism, the Olympics would be a lot shorter.
