Here's my collection (well most of it) :

This pic also includes most of my instrument collection (I have a keyboard on the left too and another guitar on the other side of the room), a Joanna Newsom poster (Wink) and a Québec flag.

Exactly what mine looks like, at least what everyone can see.  According to my list I just hit 700.  The CD's end up in storage containers under the bed due to space constraints.

I changed the outlook of my room by getting some some real posters instead of crappy pictures printed from PC.

(I just hit 460 CD's... the collection looks so tiny when it's spread out...)

I think my collection is nearing 300 ablums now, I've not counted for a while but I've got a fairly out of date spreadsheet, which has over 270 entries. Big%20smile

Hard copies of CDs: 408
Albums bought on iTunes: 159
Albums that my friends lent me to put on iPod: around 200

So I have about 750-800. Not too bad considering I only starting buying albums three years ago.

Well I've recently builded up about three more high shelves of 80 records each, so I have at least 700 CDs proof of prog (and electronic Wink). yikes! Big%20smile

The rest comes down to some burned material, downloaded music and mp3s too. Tongue

No picture but I have 5 shelves each holding about 85-90 CDs. Trouble that they are now full. I don't intend getting any more shelves as I think 400+ CDs is about the limit for display. I'll have to rank the CDs and only display my favourites. I've got about 6 on my wish list and 20 or so that I have bought recently which I'm saving for my holidays. I just fancy the idea of spending part of my hols listening to new music.

Will have to move something off my shelves though to make way for them when I come back. I'll probably start with Rush - I still can't see why they are so highly rated.

I did, but that was some time ago; there have been a few additions, mainly that silver box in the first picture was 1/3 full last time, and is not 3/4 full. And goddamnit, I'll post the collection again when I get room to put them all in one place...
