Yeah, little stuff like that last line (or if you care about sports similar things can be said regarding free agency moves/trades/etc) is the only thing I can see as a positive. (though I would think some other platform, such as the band's website, or ever facebook or other favorite social media outlet could also serve that purpose, of the twit didn't exist)

Agreed. I nigh loathe the stuff about Twitter that people talk about ("lol look people think this dude's account is Walmart and he backtalks people that complain about their shopping experience!" no. Grow up please. "What Did Ronald Turnip Tweet about Bark Bonanza Last Night???" I don't care thx.) but when you're the first to see a band is working on an album or the first to listen to an EP or someone laughed at a cheesy pun you about a new genre you made up about their mathiacci band it's kinda neat.

I'm probably more against the idea of twitter. Seems rather limiting and any of the 'news' items on there could easily be posted elsewhere.

True. always worth the semi-periodic check. And oh. Yeah, if you like the cheese then you'll definitely have things to like here. I forget the song (I think Plutonium), but when it goes 'cue the music of ...' is where it really loses me. Those pseudo-cover moves are really low and uncreative IMHO, and really campy. And true...they are excellent torchbearers of that modern-ish KC sound. Deep I think best exemplifies that.

Right, good point. Maybe it'll show up on Spotify in a year though.
(What I like about it is how cheesy it is lyrically. And tjat it's a mix of older stuff Levin's been part of plus modern metal especially drum-wise. And I don't get to hear Warr guitars and Chapman sticks too often because I'M NOT SHIPPING KC ALBUMS ACROSS THE OCEAN JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T TRUST THE DIGITAL AGE, FRIPP, and second-hand CD stores are going out of business and the places that still have CDs sure as balls aren't going to have KC) |
