Indeed, I wouldn't touch a PS3.

DA:O's dlc and patches has been epically delayed on the PS3 plus it's not backwards compatible with the PS2.

Decent graphics, better games.  And not a stupid controller.

What games?

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

whatever you do, stay away from the Halo and Call of Duty franchises, they're trash

Halo is OK, CoD isn't much fun at all.

I don't care for shooters at all.  Which means that I should probably stay away from the X360 and PS3 in general.  The only game on the PS3 that interests me is Little Big Planet.  Too bad I'll never play it.Cry

Mastodon's latest starts out with a really great song (Oblivion) that really gets me pumped...but the rest is kind of a letdown for me compared to that song.

I borrowed Crack the Skye off a mate, along with some H.P. Lovecraft (the novelist, not the proto-prog band).

Fair enough. Although I am disturbed by this trend.

What next?

Rico listening to Meshuggah?

Maybe not but I will.

Epic fail.

I hate the Wii.

Buy a proper console.

I don't hate the Wii, but I agree with the rest.

Although 360 > Wii >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS3, so I'll give it that.

How is it disturbing?  I'm an Opeth fan.

Yeah but Opeth is Easy Listening Death Metal

This is barely death metal.  Plus it's barely metal at times. LOL

Dragon Age: Origins for one thing.

Although I have it on PC.

I'd never buy a console anyhow.  The type of games I like, are usually RPGs and they're better on PC.

I was thinking you'd say that, but then I thought that it was a PC game.

leadless solder + weak fan + no heatsinks = don't buy microsoft garbage

PS3s are worthwhile because they cost less than a blu-ray player

I had my 360 since they day they were released and only had one problem with it.  Plus, Zunes are great mp3 players.  My original Xbox was a tank until right around when 360 came out, when it finally failed me.  Thankfully all the games I had were backwards compatible.
