Something entirely else, Paul, I wonder how you manage to use all these titles in your "stories". I've heard David Bowie telling in an interview that when he wrote lyrics it could be based on a lot of words he had cut out from a newspaper. And then he just wrote lyrics using these words, and it might be without any specific meaning - but that's not the case with your "stories".

Edit:
Something else again, Paul, I think it would be very good in the future if your international lists contained the nationality of the bands.

Okay, Paul, I've found solution to my problem with your top 10 bands which is a list containing (13) bands which at least have done one Psych album, and my opinion can be based on only one album - that way I know what I'm talking about, which I appreciate. Star
Here it comes, unranked:

Big Brother & The Holding Company (USA)

                       Blind Faith  (UK)

                       Cream  (UK)

Country Joe & The Fish (USA)
                       The Doors
(USA)
                       Group 1850  (NL)

                       Iron Butterfly  (USA)
                       Jefferson Airplane
(USA)

                       The Jimi Hendrix Experience (USA)

Morgen  (USA)

                       Pink Floyd  (UK)
                       The Pretty Things
(UK)

The Soft Machine  (UK)

Maybe this procedure of mine can inspire you for some solution of your difficulties with the list of albums in my Psych thread. Something else here is, I wouldn't certainly mind if your list is quite a bit larger then 15 albums - like Sean Trane often does. Anyway, best luck with that!  Smile

Ookaay, I can say about myself, too that I sometimes can be in a situation like that where it can be very difficult for me to choose a rather small number of favourites - but it's 15 in my Psych thread.

That is in fact a big problem with PA's database - as I see it.

I must admit, I'm really struggling to narrow my list down to just 15 favourite psych albums when there are 850 psych albums listed on this blog to choose from. Smile

I'd like to hear you explaining this more detailed.

Edit:
Even I'm not sure, I'll agree with Cristi here. I find Sticky Fingers, for instance, rather psychedelic.

Hello Guy. It's good to hear from you again. The Japanese band GHOST are on my A-Z of Japanese Psychedelic Rock blog and Kula Shaker are coming up (eventually) on my Prog Britannia channel. As for ACID MOTHER's TEMPLE, I wasn't brave enough to tackle their stupendous discography. Smile

I'll have to remember to save THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND for my Prog Folk Britannia channel. Wink
