I think they will...I hope. It's kind of a shame that one of the top bands of the scene is actually unsigned. Wonder what really happened. Confused

In that case it's they can only afford to print 1,000 copies and hopefully sell them :)

Well according to their myspace their unsigned. I'm listening to the new song in their myspace.

Edit: Just finished listening and the song doesn't impress at all. Maybe I'll wait to listen to album in its entirety to see if its good. Smile

Well it's kind of like get in and get out kind of dealing, if they can show the record company they can garner 1,000 pre-order than they get something, like a tour, better deal, etc...  I'm assuming.

ShockedWHAT???!!! Ohh  man what is it with bands these days...The Fall Of Troy is doing exactly the same thing but their releasing 3,000. Sad news they are though I think a download version will be available.

You did catch on the Ministry of Souls thread that Giant Squid is only releasing 1,000 copies of their new album and it's available for pre-order?

other than that I really like The Ocean
and they might be classified under tech/extreme, but I think a lot of Wolves in the Throne Room has a good post-metal sound to it

Holy smokes! The new Sam Jackson Five's album is even more beautiful than i was hoping it would be. I don't think i like it more than "Easily Misunderstood", but i still highly recommend it.
