Where The Sour Turns To Sweet. I do not like the Genesis original but I do like the Echolyn version: Even In The Quietest Moments. I like the Supertramp song, but I was very surprised to hear the Unitopia version, which I like equally: All of Unitopias covers are very convincing. As a Genesis fan I have to admit that I like their version of Carpet Crawlers maybe even better than the original: As a Yes fan I do not like Owner Of A Lonely Heart, but I very much like Unitopias version of it: Unitopia made an album with only covers, but for some songs I do not dare to judge which I like more, because I do not know the original ![]() Edited by Formentera Lady - December 08 2024 at 20:11 |

Speaking of Heart and Led Zeppelin, the Ann and Nancy Wilson side project The Lovemongers, have a great cover of The Battle of Evermore on the Singles soundtrack.

This great footage features Family in 1967 at the legendary
Speakeasy Club playing a standout progressive cover of the blues classic
You Gonna Wreck My Life by Howling Wolf. |

Steve Hillage totally blistering it with his space-rock-style cover
of It's All Too Much, a classic acid-rock song by The Beatles that
first dropped on their 1969 soundtrack for the Yellow Submarine flick. |

In 1974, Bryan Ferry delivered an awesome cover of Dobie Gray's
classic track The ‘In’ Crowd. Ferry transformed this 1964 R&B tune
into a standout piece of mid-70s art rock! |

^Snakefinger also did a cover version of Ennio Morricone's "Magic And Ecstasy" from the movie "Exorcist II: The Heretic". Snakefinger - Magic And Ecstasy Ennio Morricone - Magic And Ecstasy |

I prefer Snakefinger's cover version of the United States Of America's original version of "The Garden Of Earthly Delights". Whereas the United States Of America's version is very psychedelic, Snakefinger's version is quite sinister: Snakefinger - The Garden Of Earthly Delights United States Of America - The Garden Of Earthly Delights |
