Just wanted to add a note about the only computer game that got a progressive artist to make a special song that only appears on this game.

The game is called myst IV revelations and Peter gabriel appears in this game and has a song in it. Great soundtrack as well and the game itsealf is a classic braintwisting point and click adventure game. Really great game wich is alot of fun to play and really something to test your brain on.

Not true, actually. Yes recorded the song "Homeworld" for a computer game. I can't remember what it's called, but the song itself is definitely amongst their best 90's work. First track on "The Ladder".

You're both wrong and right at the same time.

Homeworld, the 3D space RTS-type game, is the one that features the Yes track.  I can't think of any Homeworld games besides that one.

HOWEVER, the topic deals with songs that were recorded *exclusively* for games, and Homeworld was not.

So you're both right and wrong.
