I happened to be on the NPR website, and saw that they have a video of Korean post-rock band Jambinai performing. https://www.npr.org/music/ They were a fairly popular new band in 2019 with their album ONDA. Anyhow, if this link works, it will take you to the NPR and their section called Tiny Desk concerts. Edited by rushfan4 - July 12 2021 at 12:16 |

Thank you. That is a better link. More direct to the music performance. It is really pretty neat to see the unusual instruments that they are playing.

Wow, Bent Knee is a surprisingly apt comparison for the overall vibe of this music! Extraordinary!

Hi,
Very nice and enjoyable, and I would love to hear more. Similar in some ways to MONO, the Japanese band that also does instrumentals of that type. But seeing them use different instruments is on a class by themselves.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

Big NPR fan here. I often like the interlude music they use between programs. Anyway, thanks for sharing this.

Very cool. I have seen most of the trad instruments they played, but I have to admit I have never seen a saenghwang before. It's frickin' neat looking. I think the Who's in Whoville might have one.

Wow. I didn't know them, but it was GOOD. (Also didn't know most of the instruments, it was interesting and refreshing ). I love the concept of Tiny Desk, didn't expect to see a post metal band there. Here's a link for youtube. Edited by yogev - July 20 2021 at 02:39 |
