Something actually more tech...

I've been watching this thread go down the crapper lately.  Djent?  Really?  That style has had it's day imo.  After hundreds of bands start playing a style, it can get watered down... Even the mighty and over-rated Meshuggah is monochromatic to me...Y'all need to start a Meshuggah appreciation thread by itself.  And I thought this thread was supposed to be about technical and extreme prog metal....  

I suppose it would not hurt to contribute to the thread...

also, Ehnahre (feat. ex members of Kayo Dot) has a new album out.  They are certainly not for everyone, but VERY, VERY few metal and extreme bands write true 12 tone metal with an experimental bent.  Worship or detest, they are doing something interesting:

Who's heard the new Agalloch album "Marrow of the Spirit? pretty damn good I think, although I don't believe it matches the perfect amazingness of their other albums, maybe it'll grow on me more Idk lol

I love Marrow of the spirit, after almost two months of listening to it now, its lost the shock value and i know that the mantle is better, but it is for the most part, a very strong piece of work.

3)If you remember,I had created a poll about Djent(there is in General music discussions).I had said that when a kind of music starts to become bigger will exist bands that will not be so worthy.Unfortunately,it's logical and normal.

If you go to Suggest new bands(4th page),you will see Katatura.It's a band that I had suggested to the members to hear.Check it out if you want.I think that is a good band from Djent.
