Carnenera is a brand new italian band, their self-titled debut album came out in march 2014 for http://sinusiterecords.jimdo.com/" rel="nofollow - Sinusite records and is starting to receive good reviews in italian magazines and web-zines.

Members of the band (see below) come from experimental/prog/jazzcore bands in Italy such as http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=74970" rel="nofollow - NichelOdeon (Il gioco del silenzio, bath salts), http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=42678" rel="nofollow - InSonar (L'enfant et le ménure), (both with good reviews on progarchives and around the world) and Tongs.

One song of the album also takes advantage of the collaboration with singer Dalila Kayròs, who has a very appreciated solo experimental industrial electronic project and is taking part in a brand new Avant-Grind / Extreme Metal band called Syk born from the ashes of http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=33811" rel="nofollow - Psychofagist .

it is difficult to choose a genre definition for this band because the songs in the album follow differend directions; using progarchive sub-generes I would choose

Experimental/Post Metal - Psychedelic/Space Rock

...all songs have heavy sounds (hence "post metal") and all have some psychedelic "twist" in them (hence "space rock")
