Anyone else like Frank Sinatra?  Ole Blue Eyes was an incredible singer and personality.  The best of his generation.  I occasional love to play some of his songs in the car; it's very relaxing.

As I have claimed in "Entertainment Vocal Music - Like It?" -thread, Sinatra is among the greatest - clearly THE BEST of men. All in all I prefer female jazz/entertainment vocalists but Frankie was brilliant. His early era (40's) is too sweet for me, whereas he was only getting better as the age started to show in his voice. There's this concert CD from his last years, in it the long musical song 'Soliloquy' about a beach bum who's becoming a father. It's absolutely amazing, moving interpretation.

I have one of his vinyl as pre-heritage from my dad. Haven't listened to it much yet, but maybe today I will! "Bad Leroy Brown" was a nice songk, I remember it from my childhood.

I love Sinatra, and my girlfriend is crazy about him too, hehe. He had a great voice and always presented himself with alot of class, even when threatening to kick Sinead O'Connor's ass.  But I love his classic look and his vocal range, espeically on classics like Night and Day.

Love Sinatra - the triple CD Capitol Years compilation is Ol Blue Eyes at his very peak and is pretty close to my CD player most of the time - The Chairman of the Board is pretty hard to beat as seduction music
