If this poll doesn't go to 10 pages I'm going to shoot myself in the penis. Maybe not.

Not to sound sarcastic, but I think he means "Of these three, which do you chooseth?" rather than "What wouldst thou inquire about that doth not appeareth on mine list". ;)

I think such questions often equal: I don't know any (or perhaps most) of these, so I wish you'd put one I know and like on the list.

I like Shakti's Natural Elements and am  a mega-fan of Clivages's Mixtus Orbis, but I also like the three that are listed.  In fact, Codona 3 is a particular favourite album of mine and will get my vote.

It's a shame, methinks, that the category is not popular.  Quite a few of my favourite albums can be found in that sub.

Me tooLOL

I do have two of the listed albums though. Never heard that Hutchinson album, but I'd very much like to. Like Greg, I think this sub far too often is equalled with long droning ragas, Indian curries, musicians sitting on carpets and Elephant deities overlooking the whole scene. You do encounter some of that, but there are just as many modern electronic acts, fusion albums, zeuhl and folk touches alike.
I went with Third Ear Band btw. What a way to get lost! This one will have you funnelled through equal measures Bill Burroughs settings and mad British tangential forces galore. Take the ride - eat the fish - wake up next week!

Third Ear's self-titled was the first Indo-Prog/ Raga Rock album I bought, and I think Alchemy was the second.  Wonderful band.  I was rather surprised when I saw that the band had quite mediocre ratings at PA, but then musically it's not going to appeal much to the typical Prog fan.  Don't imagine Dream Theater will ever cover them.

David, if you get the chance to listen to a bit of the Clark Hutchinson album at some time.

And some tracks for others that might know the other albums:

From Codona 3, one of my favourite albums in PA:

And Alchemy:

Pierre: Nice Donald Dick still.
