Only heard the TMV album, so no vote. But it's a masterpiece, so it set the bar exceptionally high already.

The Mars Volta followed closely by Uriah Heep. Not a huge fan of Anekdoten.

Deloused is a flawless masterpiece and one of my favorite albums ever.
Truly progressive and interesting.

Anekdoten would be second if in sight.

Heep is lame.

I quite like the Anekdoten album, but Salisbury is probably Heep's best album and a near masterpiece.

Deloused is The Mars Volta's best effort, but I'm no fan of theirs.

De-loused. Even if I don't like TMV's subsequent albums as much, it still ranks as a left-field stunner for which I was wholly unprepared at the time.

Don't know TMV, haven't heard a note, though UH Salisbury is respectable (don't own it though), and I've been known to be an obsessive over Anekdoten, especially Nucleus.......

Funny how most posts are like:

I vote this and that because the other is crap.

or

I vote this, I don't care for that.

Just an observation. Keep on doing what you, don't mind me.
I voted Salisbury, although I like Anekdoten and don't honestly know anything about The Mars Volta.
