Greetings All.
My name is Oleg Ditrich and I was involved with a few Prog Bands in the 70s,one of them was called "Snakes Alive" and the other was called "Stepps"
These were privately produced, recorded (EMI )and pressed to vinyl .There were only 50 copies of each made .Both albums had some of the best Musos that graced these recordings who went on to join world renowned bands.
As I am lucky enough to still have copies of these,I would like to share a couple of tracks on this site if it Ok with the Mods.
Thank you for your time.
Cheers Oleg (Al)

Hi Oleg! I liked what I heard from Snakes Alive when I checked out the only couple of tracks available on youtube a while back. After I heard those tracks I went and suggested Snakes Alive for addition to the archives, and ya got through. I would love to hear more as I'm interested in 70's Aussie prog! I don't know of Stepps you've got me interested there too.

So welcome and cheers from a Victorian. Beer

- Gabe

You've got 5 posts now so you should be able to post pics, as well as post in other threads. In order to share wave files you might have to use a file sharing site.

Very interesting music (more fusion than "prog" to my ear); are you contemplating doing something with the recordings you have? Like having them re-issued at some point.

I hope you all are planning to resurrect these albums on a physical carrier? You know, the black plastic thing, about 300 mm in diameter Geek
