Anyone ever heard of this prog band called Ananta? I found a record by them called 'Songs From The Future', which dates back to 1980. It has a side long suite in the title track, and they seem to be an American band as it was recorded at the Golden Age Studios in LA.

I can find nothing about this band anywhere at all...

They were a group of Hare Krishnas who used to give away their albums (Night And Daydream was another) for free. Haven’t heard, but friends who own the albums used terms like “godawful hippie crap” to describe them.

I wonder how they’d change their tune if they’d actually paid money for the albums.
