I vote for Pavlov's Dog today, but I'm very eager to hear Fright Pig's album in its entirety. What I have heard sounds quite promising...
Edit: I see now that this is multiple voting. Two more votes: one for Porcupine Tree and one for Henry Cow in memory of Lindsay Cooper. I listened to a live performance of Beautiful As the Moon... Terrible As an Army with Banners yesterday and I love it. -------------

Haaaaaa! I'm a dumbass, I totally forgot about Camel (I guess they were so obvious I forget them). Gryphon is a mythological creature is it not? There was a few of those but I didn't include them.

What I like about this poll is that is misses some of the obvious bands (with the one exception), even if that was an oversight. Hopefully the PT fanboys won't overload the results with multiple votes (or did I just plant the idea?). I voted for the wonderful Frogg Café followed by the equally wonderful but nonetheless different Penguin Café Orchestra.
