Liverpool heavy space rock/prog rock bands MIND MOUNTAIN have accrued an impressive live reputation in a
relatively short space of time. Dealing in lengthy instrumental
prog/psych jams that feature a bewildering amount of improvisation and
intuitive music-making, the three-piece successfully combine reckless
abandon and pinpoint accuracy. The trio have so far recorded three
weighty slabs of dense riffage and hypnotic grooves into the world, the
cuts boasting the influences and love of the likes Hawkwind, Budgie and
early 70's Progressive rock. The band have shared the stage with the
likes of Danava, White Hills, Mugstar, Damo Suzuki and Naam since there creation
back in November of 2011." Mind Mountain have been included on a split 7" single along with Carlton Melton on a series of releases by God Unknown Records in the UK https://www.facebook.com/godunknownrecords?ref=ts&fref=ts Other bands in the series include acts such as Mugstar , Acid Mothers Temple , Gnod , White Hills and more. |
