Isn't The Necromancer just one big long guitar solo?  Agreed on The Fountain of Lamneth; surprised to see Subdivisions in your list but he does have a very tasteful solo in there. Eh...top 20: 1. Oooooh yes! So awesome! You just want it to keep going but... yeah Strangiato is ranked in my top guitar solos of all time. And I love the weird solo in Turn the Page. So strange but so... right. Turns out, a lot of his 80's solo's rocked, but in a completely different way than the 70's ones. |

There are three: the intro classical guitar solo, the long build-up few couple minutes into the song, and then the weird one a bit afterwards, during the section when the tone switches to being more playful/Klezmer like. The Exit Stage Left version of that intro solo on electric guitar, by the way, is incredible and probably should have been included on my list. ------------- I love dogs, I've always loved dogs |

La Villa Strangiato Freewill The Weapon Farewell To Kings Limelight Anthem The Analog Kid By-Tor YYZ 2112 (Discovery) I always take solos for granted this helped me sort them out and really figure out the ones i love (besides the obvious ones). ------------- Crushed like a rose in the riverflow. |

Anthem best part is the solo section, give or take a couple of seconds :3 I like the other songs more.
