I may be the only one who thinks he deserves a thread here.  But, I just wanted to thank him for hours of smiles, smirks, grins, giggles laughter, hysterics and tears (uncontrollable hysterical laughter) during my teenage years.

I read all his books and the most well known were the Wilt books.  Although admittedly good and very funny it was the South African Police novels like Riotous Assembly that I remember and one of the first scenes was the S African police's version of aversion therapy using electricity to attempt to put the officers off the pleasures of lustful thoughts towards black women.  I died.

Anyway RIP and thanks.

RIP

I had many laughs on account of him. Read the entire Wilt series (which I admit steadily declined after The Wilt Alternative), and also Indecent Exposure, Blott on the Landscape, The Great Pursuit and Porterhouse Blue. All great fun.
