This is probably the smallest issue I've ever raised anywhere (and I do it probably in the wrong subforum, but anyway)

Since it's been made possible for us forum members to change the release information of albums in the archives, I find it is funny that the release year of an album cannot be "corrected".

Some members have done a huge (and wonderful) job in adding titles to the archives (ProgLucky is the name that first springs into my mind...), and it isn't a wonder that all of the information added isn't perfect. I must add, however, that is as close to perfect as possible...

All this came into my mind because;

The 'Amenophis' self-titled had its release year marked at 1992, which is actually the year it was re-released (by Musea if my memory doesn't let me down). Originally the record was released 9 years earlier, in 1983 by Pallas Records - and funny enough, this information can be found in the 'release information' part of that album's info...

I don't suppose that anyone would go and change album release years if they there weren't a reason to do so, so I'm wondering whether the release year info could be made changeable (just as the track titles are)?

Cheers

-Beau

PS and oh, please someone change the release year of the amenophis album. thanks...

mailto:M@X - M@X has said that introducing an amend facility is a bit more complex, but he is looking at it.
