It's been fun guys !
Wish You Were Here, The Magus and Up The Down Stair stand out for me although that first one on the list is incredible as well.

"MIRA QUELLA SIGNORA, BELLA SIGNORA!" times infinity!!
in other words, the Universal Totem Orchestra `The Magus' gets my vote! What an intense, varied and overwhelming album!!
But I LOVE several other albums on this list.
The Schulze and Tangerine Dream albums are stunning, the Univers Zero one is maddening and repetitive, and Floyd's classic has a grand status for a good reason.
Porcupine Tree's `Up The Downstair' is where they beautifully mixed prog, psych, ambient and dance elements together - well, the gorgeous original version, not the nonsense `remixed' version where the dancey programmed beats were replaced with live drums - BAH! Ruined what made it so inventive in the first place!

That's a mighty fine list and I love many of those albums. I'd normally vote for UZ, TP, Samla, TD, Schulze or Floyd. But......
SHUB!!!!!!!!!

I'm leaning towards The Magus myself but i want to have a listen to these first.

Choosing between Les Mortes Vont Vite and 1313 is like choosing between my children. That's my favourite Univers Zero album. Two of my favourite all-time albums ther. I'm going with 1313 because while 1313 is my favourite UZ album, Shub-Niggurath's earlier self-titled album can compete with Les Morts Vont Vite.
There are a number of five star albums in this list in my books.
I think my faves would be in this order (though it's very close between some and a couple I should re-visit): 1313 Les Mortes vont Vites Maltid Phaedra In Extremis Wish You Were Here The Magus (haven't listened to it in years, but I liked it) Up the Downstair (which I've only heard once)
Strong list..

Right now it's a tossup between Thinking Plague, Samla, Floyd, and Tangerine Dream. All four are on my all-time favorites list. This series is certainly going out with a bang!
Vote to come later.

I'll give Thinking Plague a much needed vote. The second half of the album sort of slows up a bit for me, but the first half is just precisely amazing.

Moondawn, my favorite Klaus Schulze album. A brilliant fusing of electronics and rock elements.

This is the worst list of albums of the whole zarpek polls. In the sense that they are all great and not voting for Floyd, TD or Shub-Niggurath is very hard, but my vote goes to the Incredible Magus
------------- I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

This is a battle between Shub and SMM for me (with 1313 close behind). Yet...how can I not give it to Shub...one of the best albums I own if I really think about it. So angular...so noisy...so awesome.

Finally decided to vote for Thinking Plague. I don't listen to it as much nowadays, but I'll never forget how much it blew my mind and was probably my favorite album of the 90s.

It was fun and it allowed me to check out some music i hadn't heard in a while. Always great to hear your opinions and everyone's thoughts for that matter on these albums.
