You know, it just occured to me that all our work is already done!

Don't Pink Floyd actually have a track called:

`Waiting For The Worms'

Both bands officially covered!

Mind you, it's been so many years since I've listened to `The Wall' album I don't remember if that track is actually called that?

It is, in fact!  But how about...

- "Shine On You Crazy-Smart Kid"
- "Wish You Were Arriving Somewhere But Not Here"
- "The Great Gig In The Sky Moves Sideways"
- "Have A Cigar, Lazarus"
- "Pigs In Formaldehyde"

OK, I'm done. Big smile

Jedi Joker - outstanding work lol!

"The Great Gig In The Sky Moves Sideways" - Man, that one was so obvious, surprised no one suggested it til now!

But now we need a lie-down, we've all spent FAR too long thinking about this topic!

I suspect what Toni means is "Can you name a Pink Floyd or Porcupine Tree track that reminds you of both bands?"

Moonloop perhaps, then again, perhaps not.

I'd say a lot of Voyage 34 for me, the guitar work is very reminiscent of the Wall.

Well, in reference to what the OP probably meant:  I would say Russia On Ice and/or Time Flies.  Two obvious Floyd honoring tracks.  Though the beginning (and other parts) of The Sky Moves Sideways (the song) is obviously Floyd "influenced" (actually, there is near plagiarism in all those tracks......though Wilson does avoid outright copying in all cases).

Oh, hey, Queensr˙che... When did you get here? Tongue

But, yeah, "Silent Lucidity" is seriously reminiscent of Floyd.  I'm pretty sure Geoff Tate & Co. worship that band.  I don't really find it reminiscent of Porcupine Tree, except by way of Pink Floyd and their influence on Steven Wilson.
