I just purchased this album today, and I have to say it is a great album. It is electronic in that drum loops and synth pads are frequent, but Belew holds his own with stand out guitar work, and off the wall vocals.

I recommend you check this one out along with Side One (Which was released earlier this year).

I happened to stumble upon while browsing through a local record shop. It came out just last week.

Great album, i was expecting it to be a good deal worse then side 1 (without carey and claypool) but wow, talk about a pleasant surprise. Easily amongst the best releases this year.

I'm glad to hear praise of Belews albums. I was thinking of getting Side 1, but someone who i know and into prog recommended against it. I was still going to get it but it was towards the bottom of my want list. Looks like i should move it back up.

Thanks.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Your friend was dead wrong. If you like Belew get it,it is a very very good cd.It's worth it just for the Danny Carey abd Les Claypool tracks alone.

He's right MWH, Side One is worth the three Danny Carey/Les Claypool tracks alone!
