It's impossible to figure out exactly but there are some pretty terrible albums out there, you can be sure.

That's an interesting question and probably can't be seriously answered.  It would have to be albums that haven't been rated I guess.  Do we actually have any albums that only received one star ratings from everyone that bothered to rate it?

Either Railton or Torman Maxt. Well those are the two most hated most likely.

I would add probably Ambrosia, One Eighty has maybe less than 1.5 stars. I rated it with one star myself.

The most consistently hated universally are the 80s albums where great prog bands sold out - Genesis - Abacab, Invisible Tuch or ELP's Love Beach, In the Hot Seat.

However they are not the lowest rated...

Simon Railton comes close - an album I refuese to listen to as i cherish my ears.

i will add Aube - none of his albums come close to what one might term music.

Which is the lowest rated and which are actually bad seem to be two different things. Not just here, but anywhere, because people seem unable to resist jumping on bandwagons.

Gotta be Simon Railton.  That has 10 ratings, 7 of which are reviews, and all of those reviews are one star except for Conor Fynes' two star.  His is the only rating higher than a one.

Apparently Brān has been deleted from PA (but the albums are not and this outfit is still mentioned in the Prog Folk index). Clicking the URL results in an Internal Server Error (500). Quite a pity, I was just getting curious Unhappy.

Apparently they haven't.

Seems the PA database engine didn't like the "ā" in the name - I've done a temp fix until someone who understands diacritics better than I comes along.

It's not that bad if you ask me, it's not prog but as  pop-rock album it's quite good (I've heard worse than that and those are better rated than this); and that low rating is due to just 2 ratings. But anyway...

Anyone can hate an album. Even a bunch of people, but does anyone know which album that has 100 or more ratings is the lowest? It would be cool if the lowest rated albums had a chart like the top 250!

A weighted average bottom list would be cool.

sure anyone can hate an album... but name an album viciously torn apart by collaborators.. who generally take their reviewing seriously.

I would be willing to bet the ill fated Torman Maxt album has the most 1 star collaborator reviews ever given to an album here (excepting of course non prog.. or obviously contract killing albums).

If not.. I'd SURE AS HELL like to know which album had more. Not simply hated by a few collabs.. but collabs all across the various ranges of tastes we all have.

Yeah, i agree but most of those 1 star albums have less than 10 reviews or ratings. That Torman Maxt is a contender for the top notch from what's been presented so far
