Motoi Sakuraba is a great keyboard player from Japan and his style is definitely progressive rock. He has released a lot of instrumental progressive rock albums, some concept albums (well, some video game OST, so they do have a story ;)) and he was even in a progressive rock band called Deja-vu in 1988 with their only album Baroque In The Future. And he constantly uses the minimoog, I mean what else does it take to be considered progressive rock? :)

Here is his official English http://www.cocoebiz.com/sakuraba/index.shtml -
