in the last two day i was in an israel's music fastival, so i saw a lot of conserts. but exept that, my last one was-"the blus massnegers"(great israel's band...) ------------- ...live for tomorrow... |

too many bands, most of them were metal ...i
can only mention a few: slayer, iron maiden, judas priest, dream
theater, dead soul tribe, fates warning, queensryche, camel, cradle of
filfth (don't laugh), 21st century schizoid band, socrates, ronnie james dio, accept, uriah heep, scorpions etc....

on the last sunday i saw PFM ... awesome concert on the last month i saw california guitar trio with levin and masteloto - king crimson two times -peter gabriel yes roger waters and many more, but the others are not prog at all ------------- Follow me on twitter @memowakeman |

Again too many to mention but highlight include: It Bites - Once Around The World tour (an astounding night) Thin Lizzy - Thunder & Lightening (RIP Phil) Cardiacs - St Margrets Hall, Twickenham in '82 (the support act was a magician!) Pink Floyd - Momentary Laps Of Reason Tour (I met and snogged a beautiful woman woman there who I never saw again  )Kino - Picture Tour (The wobbling lighting rig at the Astoria frightened the living crap out of me). ------------- I must remind the right honourable gentleman that a monologue is not a decision. - Clement Atlee, on Winston Churchill |

Way too many to think of off the top of my head. the most recent was today, just got back from a show by 'The Dears' montreal based indierock band. Very good, lots of prog/postrock influences. I love the flute bits

Prog: Genesis(2x), Yes(2x), Gong, Jethro Tull, Carl Palmer, Pink Floyd(2x), King Crimson, Peter Hammill(2x), IQ(5x), Pendragon(3x), Jadis, Shadowland, The Eh! Geoff Mann Band, Marillion, Camel(2x), Mirage, Egdon Heath, For Absent Friends, Rick and Adam Wakeman, Porcupine Tree… Non prog: Tears For Fears(2x), Bruce Springsteen, Prince… And probably I forget some of them… And many many classical concerts... And I hope to see Van der Graaf Generator next week! |

my first ever was Tangerine Dream in 1986 Hawkwind The Enid Jethro Tull monsters of rock in 1991 ac/dc were headlining but queensryche were also there metallica and a few goth bands incl The Mission The Cult Sisters of Mercy ( terrible night) The TEA PARTY (supporting Queensryche) |

To limit it to prog: Jethro Tull Moody Blues (3x) I wanted to go that frogg cafe concert here but i didn't make it Although i have seen alot of bands that aren't prog. ------------- Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

didnt have chance to go to all the concerts, but i went to sepultura,
W.A.S.P., Jethro tull with orchestra  , and this weekend i m going to Hatebreed

Yes, Gryphon (amazing, they supported Yes and blew them off stage), Druid, Horslips (lots), Camel (Smow Goose & Moonmadness tours), Rush (Farewell to Kings tour), Runrig (lots) Wishbone Ash (lots), Budgie, Marillion & Jethro Tull (on the same bill!!!! - that was some festival), Focus, Golden Earring, Bebop de Luxe plus a lot of minor bands. |

You mean in my whole life? I've seen hundreds of concerts. Some that pertain to this board: Yes (25 times since 1980) Peter Gabriel - 3 times Steve Hackett - 1x Genesis (Duke tour - no interest after that) Steve Howe - 2x GTR - 1x Asia - 1x, debut tour, I bought tickets before the album came out (ouch!) Eric Johnson, 3x Unfortunately, the prog giants don't tour anymore, and the lesser known bands rarely tour, especially to places like Colorado. ------------- "Progressive rock is the key to the continuance of human evolution." - Charles Darwin |
