I recently got into the band Dredg and their new record "Catch Without Arms", which I think is really amazing. They are definitely prog, so why are they not on this site?

If you know them and especially their new record please write your oppinion about this band. I think that they do a kind of music, which really guide the prog rock forward into the future.

I think they're brilliant.  Check out their older records to see some of their other roots, their hardcore influence is pretty much non-existant on Catch Without Arms, but quite present on, say, Leitmotif.

I've recently gotten into this band too, with Catch Without Arms, and I was instantly hooked.  El Cielo is also a masterpiece and I love the way the two albums are very different yet both amazing.  I would consider them to be in the gray area of prog and rock.  But if Meshuggah could be on this site, why not Dredg?

Yes, I've red about it. I also red in a rock mag, that they really created a own style with their new album. The band sound is absolutely fantastic!
