New band from USA coming to Singapore and Australia in the fall of 2012
Cosmic Danger    . Sound a lot like   Yes, UK, Asia, Rush, Bruford, But very new metric and edgy ingredients.  Worth a listen. A friend from Microsoft recommended them knowing my penchant for all things Prog!

I heard the new full CD and a few videos would be up soon. I got three of their songs already..
Found them on CD baby too.

I purchased this CD from CDBaby, so it is officially released in the event that we should possibly evaluate them for inclusion on PA.  I've not listened to it yet, but every indication is that they are a prog band.

Sounds like pretty decent Neo Prog to me - another band that needs to be moved to the 'Suggest New Bands and Artists' forum if no collab picks them up from here. It would appear that Scott added them to progfreak.com at the time he purchased the CD:  http://progfreak.com/Cosmic-Danger-154073.html" rel="nofollow - http://progfreak.com/Cosmic-Danger-154073.html , but there's no PA chart been started on there for them at the time of writing this. I'll give it a couple more days, and if nothing transpires I'll start a new thread for them in the New Bands forum.   Smile

I did give it a listen and I agree that Neo Prog is probably the best place for them.  I have let the Neo Team know.  I don't have the ability to update progfreak for PA business so someone from the team will have to do that update.

Thanks Scott. It should all fall into place now within a few days. I'll check from time to time to make sure.  Thumbs Up

Great neo-prog here. I went To high-school with the guy who did the drumming and keys on this album, He's always working on musc. I really like this work-in-progress he posted on SoundCloud:

Hopefully "Universe at Large" is successufl enough that they can continue to release albums.

Here is a pretty cool preview of the studio work going on over at E3. Thanks to Soundcloud search for pointing this one out. Now if only a few of these older guys, listed as collaborators or assets on CD1 get in the game and take part in a more prominent role in CD2. This could be a very interesting "Super Band" of sorts........Big smile

I will  scan in  the credits from CD1 to post while pondering this set of possibilities.
