I submitted a review about a half hour ago (  http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3651" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3651 ) but it didn't get posted on the site's front page though it did get posted under the artist's archive page. Just curious to why it didn't make the front page?

Was it an "update" of s star-rating? Like it was originally a rating only but you added the review afterward?

The original post date for the rating was December 11, 2011 - so an update with a review does not count as a new review. That's not a bug in the system, we cannot tell whether an update is a new review or an edit to an old one - sorry. The only options are not to rate first or ask an Admin to delete the rating-only before submitting the proper review (though we're not at your beck and call on such things so you'll have to catch one of us in a good mood for that Wink).

ps: The current trend of flooding the Front Page with content-less 101 word reviews is killing the Front Page - a decent review will quickly get pushed off the page anyway so the value of having a review showing on the Front Page is rapidly diminishing.

^^^ Thanx for the explanation Dean. I had another rating that I upgraded to a review and it made it to the front page. It's not so much about me as it giving the artist/album I'm doing the review on the exposure. This last review and future reviews I have planned on is giving some lesser known, obscure Canadian artists some exposure. I've noticed of late that the front page but does turn over rather quick even when I go to the "last 50 reviews". No biggy. It is what it is.

Agreed! Might be as well to hold off till the volume seekers run out of steam.
