Listening to the video, these guys will have no problem being added here. Fantastic find!

Excelent songThumbs Up. Definitely prog. Don't care for the vocals, but that's a common problem for Russian bands trying to sing in English.

As for embedding, use tube tags: (tube) insert youtube URL here (/tube) except use square brackets instead of parentheses.

I've moved the thread to the right place and renamed it with the band name. If you could edit the thread title to include the subgenre you think they could fit into that would be great.

thanks.

A bit more info here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/IMPACT-FUZE/162271187185178" rel="nofollow - http://www.facebook.com/pages/IMPACT-FUZE/162271187185178

The 'Moscow' track featured in the video from the o.p. plus two more samples on soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/impactfuze" rel="nofollow - http://soundcloud.com/impactfuze

Another studio sample: http://farfrommoscow.bandcamp.com/track/punisher" rel="nofollow - http://farfrommoscow.bandcamp.com/track/punisher  (the second track from their EP 'Moscow', which is available for download purchase at cdbaby http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/impactfuze" rel="nofollow - http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/impactfuze ).

This bandcamp track is from a 26 track compilation album called "Flight" by 'Far from Moscow', which is designed to showcase some of the most famous and promising names in Russian and Ukrainian jazz today. It is one of eight extensive compilation albums available for free download from bandcamp (see discography on the right hand side of the page) which are all examples of the great diversity of musical talent that has surfaced in Russia and the surrounding area over the last 12 months.

Here's some live stuff by Impact Fuze:

Apart from the second track above, which is track four from the 'Moscow' EP, called "The Way To Self", I don't actually know the titles of any of these vids - they are all just given numbers here. Confused

This next one is a whole damn concert!

There's more live vids on YouTube for them too...

Edit: Two of these guys are actually already on PA . Fyodor Dosumov (guitar) & Anton Davidyants (bass) were the nucleus of the power trio 'Alkotrio': http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5174" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=5174 . Just the drummer has changed, with French drummer Damien Schmitt now replacing Denis Popov.

Almost missed this again, but I've been listening to the album on soundcloud and remembered this thread. I think they may be a little heavy for pure fusion, but Fyodor Dosumov seems to take a ton of influence from Guthrie and Holdsworth, so I'll plop a note in JR/F's thread.

If one video doesn't have enough notes, try playing three.
We added them to the jazz-related rock section at the jazz site.
