I just ordered 3 Camel albums (A Live Record, The Snow Goose, Mirage) from my local record store without ever hearing a single note the band played. I just hear that they are very very good, somewhat similar to Yes in sound. From what i could gather, these are the best offerings from the band. Am I about to be screwed or did I make a good choice? Sounds similar to Yes?????? First of all they are not similar to Yes!For me they are a little beter(if this is possible).Mirage and Snow Goose are IMO 2 masterpieces of prog rock.Next Camel album you should trie(if you like those) is moonmadness! ------------- ...But my dreams are for dreaming and best left that way-and my zero to your power of ten equals nothing at all... |
