Hello world,

Some more newcomers to sink your collective teeth in.

Battlestations is a post-rock, experimental outfit from Brussels, and we're releasing the first album end of this month.
As any such first output for a band, we need to buzz it out a little.

So... We would like to do the following: anyone willing to review the album will get a CD for free when we have them back from the factory later this month. You also, of course, have to be willing to let us publish it on our own website at the end of the month when the CD is out.

Whether the review is good or damning, we'll publish it, with your desired name for the reviewer as well as linking to a page of your choice, if any.

We'll accept praise (LOL) as well as scathing criticism, but both have to be constructive; in other words, just "I like it" or "it sucks miles" won't cut it ;)

Everyone sending us such a review will receive a disc. Whether it ends up in your stereo or as a coaster is then up to you :)

Do yourself a service: if you intend to participate in this, don't treat yourself with the streaming stuff on our site or elsewhere, request instead a link to a FLAC package for proper good sound and we'll provide it to you.

That's all for now.

Be well,
Battlestations

Hey guys, you should have posted in the forum_topics.asp?FID=1" rel="nofollow - Suggest New Bands and Artists section so that your band is taken for evaluation and addition to PA; your stuff is some of the best progressive rock I've heard in 2011 and we definitely need to have you on board.

The evaluation is now underway and it shouldn't take long before the addition is done. I'll post a notice at that time. When that happens, make sure to post here too: forum_topics.asp?FID=82" rel="nofollow - Official "Review Our Music" Board .

See you around!

I would like to review your album. A friend of mine was streaming one of your songs and it sounds really excellent, so I would love to give it a complete listen for review.

Hey guys, you're going to be added in the Post Rock category in the end. We need a band picture, can you share one? I couldn't find any.

Also, is the theme at about 12:30 in the first track a Depeche Mode quote? I'm sure it's a quote but I can't pin down the source. Big smile

And added: ../artist.asp?id=6555" rel="nofollow - Battlestations .

Can you please also post a list of all the musicians involved in making the album?
