The only 4 metal bands on that list are Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Nightwish.
These days all 4 bands are crap but I voted Slayer because they used to be
good and they haven't sold out (Metallica) or have total dicks in their band
(Mustaine).

I don't listen to any of those bands now... though listened to AC/DC when I was about 15.. so I won't be voting... btw, send my Regards to Kirk Hamlett when you see him... quite possibly prowling the walls of Elsinore Castle.. ------------- Music has always been a matter of energy to me. I have a name for most of those bands. "Angry Teenager Music" (Except Queen, I don't know why they're in that category) I'd better not say anything bad about Metallica, though. what an awful list. why the hell are NIN (pop-industrial) and Queen (pretty much pop-rock) on a metal list? wtf man? I have been really digging Slipknot for the last few years so I voted for them.They were a breath of fresh air on the metal scene.And T-Rex is in no way, shape or form metal.Glam rock,and a great band,Marc Bolan was a visionary.But not metal. -------------  |

Out of that absolutely terrible selection, I'm going with Slayer. Half of them aren't even metal. Not sure about anyone else here, but I'd prefer a little research to be done before making a poll like that again. But hey, I'm new. -------------
