This two songs seem to be among the best loved on this forum, and they usually win polls when they appear, so which do you like better?

well, i set it 4-3 in CTTE's advantage. love them both, but i always say, CTTE is like meeting god itself virtually. it's pure prog bliss. very hard choice indeed, but in the end, CTTE is mine.

As already stated by many, two great tunes. My vote goes to CTTE because it has a strong sensory trigger from when I was a teenager and lounging around my folks pool in the summer. For me CTTE is the perfect exemplification of what a summer day by the water would sound like.

At least twice for me, but that only goes back as far as my dim memory will take me. I believe I said the same thing the last time as well: CTTE is an integrated whole while SR is a suite of connected pieces. Both are great to be sure, but I am going for the one that has to come in its entirety as opposed to the one I can break up.

I tried to make this decision a while ago, and I nearly couldn't! I think I have to say Suppers Ready, cause it is a little more diverse, but the climax of Close to the Edge just barely passes the climax of Suppers Ready.

I find that I like the segues between the different parts of CTTE, so I guess I'd say the Yes number "flows" from section to section better. But then Supper's Ready has some unbelievably powerful stuff in it that I just never tire from, when "Guaranteed Eternal Sanctuary Man" kicks in it gives me shivers every time. But then again so does CTTE. Therefore I choose NOT to vote!! Too hard!
